Hario Double Mesh Metal Dripper V60-02 suodatinsuppilo on valmistettu kokonaan ruostumattomasta teräksestä. Manuaalisesta kahvinkeitosta on tullut meille joka aamuinen rituaali tuoksuineen ja höyryineen ja tämä suppilo todella toimi tarkoitukseensa. Harmi vain että pohjalevyn ja suppilon kiinnityskohta petti reilun vuoden käytön jälkeen. :/

Ei laske kuin aivan minimaalisen määrän sakkaa kuppiin, jos jauhatus on kohdillaan. Mukavaa kun kahvin valmistamiseen ei tarvitse mitään ylimääräisiä papereita. Tulee hienosti tiskikoneella puhtaaksi.

Känns robust i konstruktion om man håller på de platta delarna. Enkel att rengöra, brygger bra kaffe. Mycket lite sediment jämfört med andra metallfilter jag har testat.

Tycker denna plockar fram mer smak än med traditionellt pappersfilter, dock släpper den igenom mikroskopiska delar av kaffet, så man får en slags "minisump" i botten av kaffekoppen. Inget som stör mig, struntar bara i att dricka upp de sista millilitrarna ;-)

This filter performs very well. Doesn’t catch silt as well as a paper filter, but coffee still comes out clearer than single-walled mesh filters. It’s also very easy to use; no need for a fancy gooseneck, any kettle with good pour control will do the job.
So why the bad review? Durability. The cone and the base are two completely separate parts held together by three small solder points. Those are serious weak points; it’s not a question of if they will fail, but when. Sure enough, one broke after eight months of use, and the others couldn’t take the additional strain for long. This is a forty-euro filter—it should last longer than eight months!
Simply put, it’s a good idea poorly executed. If HARIO strengthened the join, or made the whole item as one piece, it would be a five-star item. As it stands, though, it’s just too flimsy.

Using the dripper for Ethiopian coffee like Yirgacheffe and Sidamo and I like the taste better then with paper one.
