The versatile Iced Tea
A refreshing iced tea tastes great during hot summer days and it's also an amazing ingredient in cooling beverages and festive tea based cocktails.
You can make iced tea either by steeping tea in hot water and letting it cool before adding the other ingredients, or you can make so called cold brewed iced tea where you let the tea steep in cold water longer, for example over night in the refrigerator.
Cold brewed tea gives a fresh and sweet tea without the sometimes bitter and too strong flavours of hot tea brewed too long. It's also easy to make larger amounts of cold steeped tea so that it's enough for all thirsty friends.
Traditionally steeped hot tea with its strong flavours is however also a great ingredient in drinks, cocktails and beverages.

The different tea types all have their distinctive aromas and flavours that go especially well together with certain fruits, berries and herbs. We listed a few ideas and flavour combinations for delicious summer iced teas.
