The idea behind ROK was born in the late 90's in London. Prototypes of a home espresso maker that needed no electricity, named "Presso", were developed and the production began in 2004. The company changed its name from Presso to ROK in 2013 when the coffee scene was rapidly expanding and the demand for this type of products had grown.
The main philosophy behind the ROK products is that they should last a long time and not end up landfill within a few years.
