Mr

Nice design. Insulated. Large capacity for the volume. However, it is not suitable for all grinds. Water remains in the reservoir despite following the instructions for creating a vacuum.

Good coffee and a little tinkering

It takes a little time but the coffee turns out very good!

Replacement for a coffee maker

I'm the only one in the household who occasionally wants to drink coffee, so I got this instead of a larger coffee maker. When twisting the vacuum, it feels like the coffee is really being made, not just brewed in some machine. I can't really evaluate the taste of the coffee, but it's at least better than the gas station coffee I usually drink. I'm still getting the hang of the coffee-to-water ratio and extraction speed.
As an extra bonus, the Pipamoka serves as a good spectacle if (one) guest wants coffee. Lay out the separate parts on the table with the coffee and water nearby. Just start making coffee :-)
