Coffee Origin

This coffee, grown entirely organically for barista use, regrettably lacks certification following international protocols. The farmers, members of the Karagwe District Cooperative Union established in 1990, face financial constraints that prevent them from obtaining certification.

In the vicinity of Lake Victoria, coffee cultivation is accompanied by the growth of additional crops like maize, millet, beans, and livestock farming. Cattle rearing, in particular, serves a dual purpose, contributing to the supply of organic fertilizer and the preservation of soil fertility and moisture levels.

Mokaflor Farm is a new traceable coffee project for the conscious barista. Linking coffee growers in distant tropical regions with coffee lovers who value the traceability and origin of each cup's unique flavors.
